Selecting a method
From version 2.2 Community Edition has been shipped with a more complete set of method templates all updated and with now capabilities so now you have a much more extensive choice of which methodology you can use for your project.
Provided as Standard
- PRINCE2 Resource Pack - The Official PRINCE2© template pack extended with additional templates and tools created by the same author. Also providing links to Process maps, glossaries and other essential materials to support your PRINCE2 implementation or learning.
- 3 Step Method - A Generic project management methodology for your least complex projects. Based on best practice and years of experience and providing a full set of templates, tools and resources The templates are tailored from the official PRINCE2 template pack by the original author to match this method.
- 5 Step Method - A Generic project management methodology for your more complex projects. Based on best practice and years of experience and including a full set of tools, templates and further resources. Templates are tailored from the official PRINCE2 template pack by the original author. This method includes stages so you can better structure your more complex deliverables.
- DSDMAtern - the official DSDM Atern agile method template use for your agile projects
- PPP - A Proposal Preparation Process for working on RFPs or Tender responses and large scale sales opportunities in a structured way.
All these method templates are now identical to the ones we provide in our commercial packages so you can make use of the planner tool and the risk, issue and quality management tools more easily. If you then want to upgrade to Personal Edition or our multi-user platforms you will be able to immediately start creating project and portfolio reports on your transferred projects.
